CREDIT BY FRAUD
A WELLINGTON CHINESE SENTENCED TO GAOL AN OLD OFFENDER Wellington, Tuesday. A young (Chine&e, Arthjur Wohg Chang, was sentenced to four months imprisonment by Mr. Page, S.M., today, for obtaining credit to the extent of £30 18s 9d from Picot Bros. by fraud. It was stated he represented that he was a business man with two shops in the city and wanted to open an account. He was given supplies of eggs valued at over £30. He sold the eggs round the city at prices less than costj ■The police added that Wong was discharged fyom prison only last month, and was getting quite a list for false pretences and theft.
