Mr. Forbes did not pbject so much to the restrictions imposed by the treaty as to the sudden applieation of the dumping clause by Canada- on shipments regularly coming to Vancouver. Under a new arrangement which Mr. Forbes is taking home with him the Canadian Government will keep New Zealand exporters fully advjsed several months ahead as to how they should govern shipment- schedules. Anyway, the Canadian-New Zealand treaty will be renewed in Novemher for another year, with slight modifications.
