Paris, August 21. , M, Louis Blierrot, the first -Man to fly thp English :channeL in 1909, and for years a leading aeroplane.design-. er and manuf aqturer in France, has decided to close dowp, his factory. - _He says: "Unless the Ministry . of Air gives me oi'ders.I can.do jiothingi A few years ago I empioyed 3.0Q0 men, but now I have onjy 10. During my lifetime I have designed, 200 ,difr ferent models and have built ; over 1000. During the war ,my faetory's I output reached 13 aeropiqnes a day. In 1926 I submitted plans ,-,of seaplanes exactly similar to those- used by .General Balboa's armada, but.they were rejected. To-day I have plans for trans-Atlantic passenge-r machines. which I am sure will be generally approved five years hence.
