HOUSEWIVES WARNED AGAINST CHEAP WARE Wellington, Thursday. Following the publication of a memorandum issued from London and dealing with the danger of poisoning from antimony when using aluminium vessels for the mixing of lemon drinks, an examination has been carried out of a variety of aluminium ware. It has been discovered that many of the cheaper lines contain a proportibn of antimony which is fairly easily soluble under the action of acid. Purchasers of enamel therefore, will be well advised to obtain a guarantee that such goods do not eontain antimony and that if they do, ' food containing acids is not mixed in them:. ..
