BRIEF LIBERTY
PRISONER WHO JUMPED FROM TRAIN IS. CAPTURED Auckland, Saturday. After 14 houx*s of liberty, obtained by the prisoner, William Henx*y Charles McKay, alias Lamb, who jumped from the Wellington- Auckland express when it was leaving Mercer station shortly after six o'clock on Saturday morning, he was re-arrested at 8 p.m. on Saturday at a relief camp one mile north of Mercer. He was one of a number of prisoners being brought to Mt. Eden from the south.
