AMERICA WINS DOUBLES
New York, Aug. 4. Besides winning the first two doubles in the Wightman Cup contest between U.S.A. and Great Britain, America won the first doubles. Results: Misses Palfrey and Jacobs beat Misses Round and Heeley, 6 — 4, 6—2.
