LATEST RETURNS SHQW DECJREASE IN THE REGISTER - Rugby,- August 2. During the year ended Juue 30 the gross tonnage of motor vessels on the register at the ports of the Unitfid Kingdom increased by .1 per eent, to 2,696,021. The gross tonnage. of steam vessls deceased by 5.6 per cent, totalling 16,207,875 The gross tonnage of sailing vessels deereased by 1.4 per cent510,076. The total tonnage on register was 4.7 per cent. smaller than a year ago.
