. London, July 31. The Food Investigation Board's report, discussing the possibility of shipping chilled pork from Australia and Ne.w Zealand, mentions an experiment of a carcase being stored in carbon dioxid© slightly above freezing point for seventeen weeks and then sent to Smithfield. Twenty experts tasted the pork and said it was the most tender they had ever eaten, resembling cbicken and veal.
