Wellington, Monday. The hearing bf the cdse ih which E. R. Leighton, of Wellington, claimed £25 damages from Thomafe Charles Webb, veterinary adviser to the New Zealand Tailwaggers' Club, ahd from the club itself , was concluded to-day. The Magistrate (Mr. E. Page, S.M.) reserved his decision. . . The plaintiff alleged that Webb had so unskilfully treated his Alsatian dog, which was suffering from an injurfed hip, that it had to be destroyed.
