JARDINE AND THREE OF AUSTRALIAN TOURISTS TO GO

Rec. July 28, 8.45 p.m. London, July 28. D. R. Jardine. has accepted the captaincy of the M.C.C. team to tour India and departing on September 22. The Daily Telegraph understands that only six of the players who .toured Australia were approached and that three of them, Sutcliffe, Hammond and Leyland were unable to accept the offer.
