annual meeting of millers held in wellington

Wellington, Wednesday. In opening the annual meeting of the New Zealand Federated Sawmillers' Association to-day, Hon. E. A. Ransom announced the continuance of the existing concessions to millers operating in State forests. These ixiclude the waiving of interest on overdue promissory notes, the aholition of ground rent on s'awmill areas, a rehate of 10 per cent for payment in cash, and a reduction of 10 per cent on the royalty on silver beech exported to Great Britain for motorbody building.
