N.Z. COMPANY IN PROCESS OF FORMATION IN WELLINGTON

Wellington, Tuesday. Plans for the formation of the National Airways Company of New Zealand are now being made and Mr Wilfred Kingsford Smith is due to arrive in New Zealand about the middle of ne.xt month in conneetion with the flotation of the company. It is quite possible that Sir Charles Kingsford Smith will be interested in the company. Full details of the operations proposed are not yet available but the present plans centre around a serviee between Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The North Island
portion of the route is via New Plymouth. It is possible that the 'plane which is to be flown across the Tasman by Squadron Leader T. W. White in December next, will be used as one of the company's machines.
