THURSDAY Blazing a new trail for motion picture entertainment, "Broadway Bad," the Fox Film coming to the Grand Theatre on Thursday, comhines gaiety, music and displays of feminine heauty 'with tense emotional drama Featured in the cast are Joan Blondell, Ricardo Cortez, Ginger Rogers, Allen Vincent, Victor Jory, Adrdenne Ames, Phil Tead, Francis McDonald | and Spencer Charters. Sidney Lanfield directed. Heretofore, igay music, sparkling dialogue and arrays of heautiful girls 'have been associated with sophisticated comedies or other films of light vein. In "Broadway Bad" they form a natural and colourful background for the dramatic story of ai girl who fights a winning hattle against circumstances and the handicaps of an undeserved reputation.
