ANTON CERMARK'S WILL
LEFT ESTATE OF £50,000. A quarter of a million dollars (£50,000 at par) was the value of th'e estate of the la.te Mayor of Cbicago, Mr. Anton J. Cermak, as estimated in his will, which has been filed for probate. j Charitable and political contributions and shrinkages of real estate values were saud by the mayor's associates to have reduced the estate from a value of 600,000 dollars (£150,000 at par), in 1929, when the will was j drawn up. The will bequeathed £3400 to charities, £24,000 to former employees and friends,' and the remainder to his immediate family. Three daughters survive Mr. Cermak, who was mortally wounded by a bullet fired by an assassin at President Roosevelt in Miami last February.
