important gathering at ngongotaha on monday The "farmers' field day" arranged for Monday next by Mr. C. Dalgliesh, of the Agricultural Department, shouid prove an interesting and instructive gathering. A programme has been arranged which cannot fail to ,be. of great educative value to the farmers of the district. Not only will plants, sheds and herds be inspeeted but instructive addresses will be given by experts upon a varietyof subjects. Points and types in both gh'eep and cattle will be discussed, diseases in stock explained and advice giyen in connection with roots and hay crops. Sheep breeding and wopl production will also be touehed upon and denionstrations given. The first poiiit qf assembly will be MrH. M. Martin's farm at Ngongotaha at noon. .
