That the country districts should be on the same footing as the-cities with regard t.o the relief work allocations .was the view of the local cpnimitteo expressed to the Minister and • the Board. The Relief Workers' Cpmmittee waited on the Unemployment Committee, and stated that the allocation was not suffieient. The workers disliked taking food and clothing^ from the committee does not want the unemployment relief taxation increased.
