The United States delegation this evening joined with the British delegates in opposing any idea of the adjournment of the conference at this stage. _ ; The British delegates admit that the idea of currency stabilisation must be abandoned and recognise that Mr. Roosevelt now favours the managed currency idea which had dropped out of the limelight in Britain since it was propounded by the wellknown economist, Mr. J. M» Keynes. ' The British delegates, however, -are -till willing to discuss the mat'ter.
