PUTARURU Messrs Dalgety and Company Ltd., Hamilton, report having held their Putaruru stock sale on Friday June 30, when there was a large yardmg of all classes of stock, which realised full market rates. Sheep: Extra heavy fat ewes made 15s 6d, fat lambs, 13s 6d; forward 2-tooth wethers, 14s to 14s ld; ewes in lamb f.m., 11s. Pigs: Sows in pig £2 12s 6d to £3 5s; store pigs, 16s; weaners, 12s to 13s 6d. Cattle: Fat cows made from £2 to £2 17s; forward cows, 30s to 35s; boners, 16s to 26s. There was a very large yarding of dairy cows and hexfers. Forward heifers in calf made £5 to £5 15s; more backward ditto. made £4 to £4 10s; rough and inferior heifers, £2 10s to £3.
