SEARCH ABANDONED
WRECKAGE FOUND Rec. July 3, 12.40 a.m. Sydney, July 2. The owners of the Christina Fraser have decided to abandon the search. Sir Kingsford Smith spent another fruitless day searching and two steamers have just reported seeing • • floating wreckage off Ram Head on the Victorian Coast. These reports ' will be investigated. An aged eouple near Eden report ' that they saw a rocket and heard the I sound of a ship's siren on the night ' • of June 26, but they did not knovj; that any vessel was missing until they visited Eden at the week-end.
