Sydney, July 2. Herbert Francis Perkins, 43, a letter carrier, at Enfield, battered 1 his wife, 12-year-old' daughter and a baby with a trenchihg tool. All are dead and a small boy is in hospital in a critical condition. Perkins afterwards committed suicide, almost severing his head from his t>ody. Neighbours state that he had been worrying regarding a pending departmental enquiry.
