CYCLING FATALITY

YOUTH COLLIDES WITH CAR ON GREAT SOUTH ROAD * Auckland, Wednesd&y. * Severe head injuries from which he later died in hospital were received by a cyclist, Douglas Charles Baker, aged 16 years, when his cycle collided with a car on the Great South Road. The car was driveii by Mr. J. G. McDonald, of Greenlane. The boy was thrown from his cycle on to the footpath. He died an hour after he was admitted to hospital.
