SIGHTSEEING BY TRAIN

2000 MILES THROUGH ENGLAND. A "cruise rouxxd the beauty spots of Eng'land and Scotland in a luxury train, with amenities usual to a cruise at sea, is the latest innovation of the London and North-Eastern Railway. A special train of first-class earriages equipped for day and night travel will start from King's Cross on June 17 on a 2000-mile run lasting seven days. It will be limited' to 60 passengers, and in the train will be a smoking room, writing room, women's room, and haii'dressing saloon. Dinners and dances will he arranged ait hotels in Edinburgh and York. The dnclusive charge ds £20, which will also include daily motor-coach tours" to places of interest and a steamer trip in the Highlands. Among the chief calling places in the cruise will be Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Newcastle, Lake District, York, Whitby and Scarborough, Lincoln and Cambridge.
