Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Hamilton, report having held their usual fortnightly stock sale at Matamata on Wednesday, where a medium ; yarding of all classes of stock came i forward, practically the whole yarding changing hands at prices well equal to late rates. Heavy cows brought £3 10s to £4 5s; medium weight cows £2 10s to £3 5s; boner cows, £1 to £1 12s; potter bulls £2; choice Jersey springers up to £7 lss; calved Jersey! heifers up to £8 5s; more backward sorts £4 15s to £5 10s. Pigs. Heavy baconers £2 to £2 4s; medium baconers £1 14s; medium and heavy porkers £1 5s to £1 12s; light and unfinished porkers, 16s to £1 3s; stores, 12s to 16s; slips 11s to 14s; best weaners, 12s 6d; others 10s to 11s.
