HEAVY RAINS BENEFIT MANY PARTS OF AUSTRALIA Rec. june 23, 10.0 p.m. Sydney, June 23. Splendid rain, is falling throughout New South Wales, partieularly in the wheat belt and grazing areas. Some of the southern and- western areas have already had half an inch, which will allay anxiety and ensure winter feed for live stock. Parts of the south coast were drenched'and danger of floods is imminent. Opportune rain is also reporled from Queensland affording immediate relief to the drought stricken grazing areas. The southern and south-western sections of that state have greatly benefitted.
