TWO PARTIES GO TO LAW OVER TITLE OF BOOK

Wellington, Tuesday. S'eelcing an injunction to prevent the International Press Serviee As? sociation from publishing a hook of New Zealand biographies with the same title, or a similar .one, to his own, Dr. Scholefield, Parliamentary Librarian, took action in the Supreme Court to-day. After counsel had spoken and some discussiori had taken place between the parties, an adjournment was taken. Later it was announced that settlement had been reached. Defendants agreed to change the title of their publication to "th'e International Press Who's Who in New Zealand, i933," such title to be printed in uniform type and similar to the specimen lodged iri court. Plaintiff is to have leave to issue an injunction if defendants at any time eommit a breach of settiement. In the cour'se of counsel's address it was mentioned that Dr. Scholefield's sole revenue from the publication was from saies, but the International j Press made a charge of £20 and £40 for printing a biography and photograph. Mr. Justice Ostler mentioned that the change in titie Should not affect defendant's contract.
