three Men arrested

Auckland, Tuesday. Three men were arrested by detectives at Kingsland to-night, following the theft of a large quantity of women's clothing valued at £385 from the premises of the West Entf Costume Company, costume manufacturers, Iast Friday night. The detectives seized a large quantity of clothing alleged to be that whjch was stolen, and also tobk charge of a motor car. The theft was discovered when a member of the staff visited the premises on Saturday morniiig, and found t;ie racks in the store-room, which had been stocked with clothing on Friday, bare of the contents On account of the quajjtity pf clothes stolen, it is helieved that the thieves used a motor car.
