RAGWORT MENACE
SUGGESTION THAT CAMPS TO CLEAR WEED BE MADE Te Aroha, Monday. At to-day's meeting of the Piako County Council the following resolution was carried regarding the ragwort menace, which is spreading over a wide area: — That the Unemployment Board; the Department of Agriculture, and local authorities make a survey of the ragwort area, and e$r tablish camps to assist farmers in clearing the land of the. weed through, out the Auckland province.
