TENNIS CLUB HOLDS VERY ENJOYABLE DANCE

On Wednesday evening a dance was held at Taneatua under the auspices of the Taneatua Tennis Club. Mr. P. Cohu acted as M.C., and. very one had a most enjoyable time, joining in niodern and old time dances. The monte carlo dance was won by Miss M. Noble and Mr. T. Lindsay. A splendid supper was served by the ladies, after which dancing was resumed until early hours of the morning. Among those present were: — Mesdames H. Wing (Te Awamutu) (beige lace and georgette), J. Howorth (Cambridge) (cherry satin), J. Thom (wine de lustre velvet), J. -Wardlaw (cherry georgette), J. Ellison (parma violet ring velvet) . Misses Kath Armstrong (Cambridge) (lemon taffeta), Nancy Armstrong (Cambridge) (cornflour blue printed taffeta), M. Baxter (sprig lemon satin), M. Armstrong (Cambridge), B.
