Hamilton, Thursday. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 7th instant. Quotations as at May 31, are given in parenthesis: — Butter: 80s to 81s per cwt (79s to 80s). Market firm, upward tendency. Cheese: White, 48s to 49s per cwt. (47s 6d to 48s); coloured, 53s to 54s per cwt. (43s). Market firm.
