MORE SUITABLE HOURS NEEDED TO MEET POSITION

Hawera, Thursday. At a meeting of the licensed trade in Taranaki, held in Hawera to-day,-the following resolution was- passed: "That in view of the very serious financial position affecting the licensed trade in the Dominion, this meeting is of the opinion that the time haa arrived when more suitable trading hours should be granted to meet the situation." ■ -
