PROSPECTS OF INTERESTING GAMES AT ARAWA PARK SENIORS AND JUNIORS Both senior games at Arawa Park this afternoon should prove interesting to Rugby followers for Waiariki and Waikite meet on No. 1 ground and Rotoiti and Whaka on No. 2. In the former game, the play should, if the weather clears, be fast and open both teams fielding attacking back divisions. Rotoiti may prove rather too strong for Whaka but the latter have been reinforced by one or two new players. In the junior ranks, there are several clashes likely to provide good football. The Kahukura v. High
School garne should provide open play on No. 3 ground. Utahina will meet the newly-fonned Okere team and this should prove worthy of inspection since the form of the new team may reveal likely players. The other games should attract interest and the i'ae; that the Arawa Tribal team aspirants •will have their last try-out '•.pfrre going to Taranaki on June 3 in search of the Tainui Shield will result in possibles going eyes out for their p'laces in the touring side. Scott Waikite Seniors The following will represent the Waikite Club in its senior Rugby match this afternoon: — Thomasi, Davis, T. Morrison, M. Morrison, Manahij -Maka McRae, G. Mitchell, N. Rangitauira= Ladies' Hockey The second round of the Rotorua Ladies' Hockey Association's Robertson Cup competition will be commenced at the Government Grounds. At 2 o'clock sharp Mourea will meet Taniwha and at 3 p.m:. Arawa will meet the present leaders of the competi- • tion, Shamrocks. Both games should be full of interest and if the weather is sui table some fine stickwork should be witnessed.
