MR. WYVERN WILSON

TO BE APPOINTED SENIOR MAGISTRATE IN AUCKLAND Auckland, Thursday. Mr. E. C. Cutten, S'enior Stipendiary Magistrate for many years has resigned, official advice to this effect being received to-day. The resignation takes effect on July 1, at the completion of his full term of serviee. Mr. Cutten is at present en route (to England on extended leave of absence. He was appointed Magistrate in 1908. Mr. Wyvern Wilson has been appointed senior Stipendiary Magistrate in Auckland as from July 1. He will also take over Mr. Cutten's post as president of the children's court. Mr. Wilson, who for many years past has been stationed in Auckland, has been relieving Mr. Cutten since .his departure some weeks ago. Mr. Wilson was born in Gisborne and was educated in Auckland. He .was appointed a magistrate. 22 years ago.
