RATES REMAIN FIRM / ON LONDON MARKET (Rec. May 24.) Lqndon, May 23. ' At the wool saies 10,147 bales were offered, including 6640 of New Zealand. Approximately 8188 bales were sold. It was a good sale with ;brisk home and Continental competition. Full late rates were maintained. New Zealand clips: Greasy halfbred "Okuku" top price 12|d, average 10 3-8d; scoured "Corriedale" 19id. 'and 17d.
