coroner returns verdict of accidental • death

Wellington, Monday. • An inquest was held concerning the death of Ronald Frank Little, aged nine years, whose body was recovered ;yesterday. The coroner found that • the boy, while playing Jieneath the ■pipe bridge, fell into the Hutt River 'and was drowned. Mr. R. C. Durrant described finding the body on a mud flat covered by 'water at high tide near the river • mouth. "It is quite evident that it ''was a pure accident," said the coroner in giving the verdict. He said that he had visited the pipe bridge and found that there were no means of erossing beneath it.
