MR. J. H. THOMAS' DISCLOSUSE London, May 21. Mr. J. H. Thornas, Secretary of State for the Dominions, ,speaking at the Empire Day celebration at Derby, said: "Last weelc the world was perilously near war. It was the crisis. "There never was a moment when we ought to he niore thankful that the danger has passed. No nation has contributed rnore to the dispersal of the clouds than Britain."
