For the first time since the depression, the United States has epjoyed ' an uninterrupted two months advance ip. business and commerce, stimulating; cheexf ulness and confidence that domestie and international problems still pehding are adjtisted.' The country's steel activities are approaching 40 per cent capacity. Building operations are increasing, commodities and wholesale prices have risen on an average of 12 per cent and industrial items, like wheat, ! 50 per cent, wool 50 per cent. and : sugar 20 per cent. Farm commodity prices are rising four times faster than non-agricultural products, re- • versing the trend, which existed for ' years, between the goods the farmer ' sells and buys
