HERD TESTING ASSOCIATION SHOWS MANY ARTICLES An exhibit which should be of more than ordinary interest to farmers visiting the Whakatane winter ■'show is a stand arranged by the Bay of Plenty Herd Testing Association and the Waikato Pig Recording Club. It sbows two pig carcases, one of the right type for export, and one of the wrong type. In addition to this there is a large model of the layout of a' pig farm as advocated by the Waikato Pig Recording Association. Information is given on these sub- ' jects and on the question of fish meals and mineral licks by Mr. H. M. Peirson who is in charge of the stall which was arranged by Mr. Gorden •Kent the secretary of the Bay of ■ Plenty Herd Testing Association. The posters used at the back of the stall are some of those used by the Em- . pire Marketing Board and were brought to New Zealand by Dr. H. E. Annett.
