DAIRYING PRODUCTION

TELLING FACTORY RECQRDS As an indication of the steady growth of the dairying industry in the Rotorua district, the record's of the dairy companies operating here may be quoted with advantage. The Waikato Valley Dairy Co., Ltd., started operations here in 1^27 when butterfat received for the season totalled 23,000lbs. At the end of this season the depot will have hand'led 927,0G0lbs of butterfat. T(ie N.Z. Co-operative Dairy Co. output given in tons is even more convincing. The details are as follows: — 1927-28, 673 tons; 1928-29, 736; 1929-30, "828; 1930-31, 834; 193132, 890; 1932-33, 1008 (part season only); 1932-33, 1900 (estimate for complete season).
