RESULTS OF MATCHES AT RUGBY PARK PLAYER INJURED

The results of the matches played at Rugby Park on Saturday last being the fourth day's play in the first round of the inter-club competitions, are as follow: — Seniors United (6) defeated Huimai (5). Referee, Mr. C. Walker. Rangiuru (12) defeated Papamoa (10). Referee. Mr. S. Heather. Juniors United (18) defeated Huimai (nil). Referee, Mr. E. Morton. j Stars (3) defeated Rangiuru (nil). Referee, Mr. J. Cooney. | Player Injured j In the United v. Huimai game, Haslam, a f ormer Auckland representa- J tive, who is this year playing for United, had the misfortune to break , his collarbone, and as a result will be unable to play for some weeks. Position of Teams Saturday's play completed the ' first round of the inter-club competi- . tions, the positions of the teams now being: — United, 5 points; Rangiuru, 3 points; Papamoa, 2 points; Huimai, 2 points. Rep Fixture Next Saturday Arrangements have been made for a Rotorua representative team to visit Te Puke on Saturday next. Te Puke this year will be strengthened by the addition of several new play- | ers of merit, and an interesting game I should result.
