— By Telegraph — Copyright) .
■ Wellington, Sunday. The shipping position is back to norma! at Wellington. Only fonr of /the vessels affected by the hold up ; have not yet signed on union crews. .'These are the Monowai, Maunganui, (Kaitoa and the Echo. The Kaitoa will . sign a crew tol-morrow, when she will | resume running in the Nelson ferry !' service. The auxiliary scow, Echo, which 'left here for Blenheim with a volunteer crew, arrived back to-day, as was the case of the Tamahine. The [ Echo union crew refused to man the | vessel until the quarters had heen i' fumigated and cleaned out. This will 'be done to-day. f The Maunganui is due. here tomorrow manned by.a volunteer crew, who will he signed off to-morrow. As with the union crews of the Echo and Tamahine, her crew will no / doubt indicate that the quarters must be fumigated before they can occupy them. With the exception of the Wainui, 1 all other- ships left port on Saturday. Two of the Wainui's crew had gone ' south during the hold up, and only arrived back in Wellington by the Rangitira to-day. They joined the r ship immediately and she left at 8.30 a.m. for Bluff and Melbourne. The Waikawa was similarly delayed at ' Lyttelton until a number of the crew returned from Auckland where they had signed on.
