BRIDGE DRIVE
EVENING TO ;RAISE FUNDS FOR TRAINED NURSES' . ASSN. In order to assist the funds of the Rotoroa Trained Nurses' Association, a most snccessful bridge drive was held at the Nurses' Home, TCing George V Hospital, last Wednesday afternoon. The bridge rooras were most artistically arranged with large autumn chrysanthemums and green foliage, and the guests were received by the matron, Miss A. C. Searell, who was wearing a dainty gown of cornflower floral georgette. The president of the association was unable to be present owing to indisposition. A 500 turnament as well as bridge was played, the prize being tied for by Miss Robinson and Mr. Green, while the bridge trophy went to Mr. E. Crawford and Miss Andrew received the consolation prize.
