THE PRINCE'S HEIGHT

MEASURED AT CATHEDRAL.

The height of the Prince- of Wales was recorded on the occasion of his recent visit to Roskide Cathedral, the Westminster Abbey of Denmark, Within the cathedral is a pillar against which, from time to time-, visiting Royalty have stood and had their height niarked. The Prince's line was 5 feet 7- inches from the floor. The marks are there of Peter the Great, 6 feet 11 inches; the present King Christian of Denmark, 6 feet 7 inches; and King Alexander III of Russia, 6 feet 2 inches. The Prince placed flowers on the tomb of his great-grand-parents, King Christian IX, and Queen Louise, the parents of Queen Alexandra.
