UNUSUAL BIRTH AT ZOO
DANGEROUS ANTELOPES IN LONDON. An aryx antelope was recently born at the London Zoo, being the second in the history of the institution. Until lately the society had feared to mate these dangerous animals, which in Africa frequently prove victors in fights with lions. The horns are often four feet long, those of the female exceeding those of the male.
