TRAFFIC BREACHES
ROUND UP OF OFFENDERS AGAINST BOROUGH BY-LAWS ' A number of offenders against borough by-laws came before Mr. S. ■ L. Paterson, S.M., in the Rotorua : Court yesterday. Ivan Lyle, who rode a cycle minus ■' a light, was fined 10/- and 10/- costs. J. Wylie for a similar offence was fined 10/- and 12/-. R. Mason, who had been convicted of this offence before, was fined £1 and 10/- costs for riding an unlighted cycle on Ranolf Street. P. Hodge, who rode a motor cycle he was repairing for his brother, but failed to take out a drivers' licence, '"was fined £1 and 10/- costs. Maran Kanja who rode his bicycle on the footpath in Tutanekai Street was .fined 10/- and 10/- costs. Kara Heni who rode a cycle on the footpath was fined 5/- and costs 17/-.
