CHARGES DENIED
FQRWARDED TO TOKIO Rec. April 30, 6.35 p.m. Ottawa, April 29. The charges by Mr. Thomas Reid, the New Westminster member; in the House of Commons that Japanese naval officers under guise of fishermen, were spying out British Columbia, are discounted by the marine workers. Hundreds of Japanese fishermen here who lcnow every bay of the coast, flatly deny Mr. Reid's charges. The Japanese legation announced that this statement had been for'warded to Tokio.
