DIARY 'RECORDS PROGRESS Rec. April 30, 5.5 p.m. London> April 29. A Florence message states that Hinkler's diary was found iri a pocket of the aeroplane. It recalls passing Le Bourget, Maeon, Mddane, Mt. Cenis, Spezia and Florence. One entry indicates that he pfoposed then Ito fly over Mt. Laberna to the Adriatic coast and on to Brindisi. The map found had the Australian route marked in red and blue ink. The " Italian airman, Magrini flew over Proto Magno and dropped flow- ' ers on behalf of the Fascist militia. '■* The li'ody has alre'ady been offlcially identified and the Italian Government is rendering the corpse official honours awaiting instructions for burial.
