GOOD SHOOTING UNDER, RAD CONDITIONS ON SATURDAY

The Rangitaiki Rifle Club fired for a trophy presented by Bridigers Ltd. last Saturday. A westerly gale was blowing which made shooting diffieult. The conditions were 10 shots at 20i yards. The contest was an exciting one between Mrs. .Moore and A. C. Fox who both made the s'ame scorc. oi? the rifle and also had the same haridicap. Mrs. Moore won on the tie her , score card registering 44555455, 5 5 — 47, while Fox's card read 5 5-55 5 4 4 5 5 4—47. - Th'ese two shots have been shooling brilliantly of late. J. Penny is showing improvement in his shooting; his total with handicap was also 50. The scores are as follows: —
