HIT MOUNTAIN

FRENCH AIR LINER IS WRECKED AND EIGHT LIVES LOST (Rec. April 27.) Rome, April 26. The wreckage of the French air liner which has been missing since Sunday was found near Cosenza. The liner erashed on a mountain side. All five passengers including a woman and the crew of three were killed. An earlier cable message stated it was feared that eight lives had been lost in a French commercial seaplane bound from Indo-China to Marseilles, which has been missing since Sunday morning. When the machine was nearing Naples she wirelessed saying: "Encountering a storm over the Appenines."
