j UNPLEASANT WEATHER! MARS OPENING RUN OF SEASON. I Most unfavourable -Weather conditions prevailed last Saturday lafter- ; noon for the opening- of the first meet , of the 1933 season of the Rotorua and ' Bay of Plenty Hunt Club. However, : there was quite a number of enthusiasts to answer the call of the horn I that afternoon, and although the wily ' hare felt disposed to keep well iaway from the wintry blast and teeth of his pursuers, the energetic ride gave extra relish to the afternoon tea awaiting the followers on their return to "The Mount." Among those present at "The Mount," were: — Mrs. H. Bertram, Mrs. Wilmott, Mrs. J. Speer, Mrs. F. Thomson, Mrs. H. P. Ford, Mrs. Ned McCullough (Whakatane), Mis3 J. Bertram, Misses B. and E. Bertram, Miss A. Brackebush, Miss Hinton, Miss H. Ford, Miss O. Millett, Sister Smith, Misse3 James and Julienne Perkins, Miss J. Robertson (Whakatane), Miss Bradford (Australia), Miss J. Speer, Miss B. Ford, Miss Stennet, Miss R. Winiata, Miss P. Ford.
