GARDENING CIRCLE

The gardening cirele of the Opotiki branch of the Women's Institute visited Mrs. J. T. Tabb's residence on Friday afternoon and , spenta a very entertaining time in the gardens. The ' culture of chysanthemums was free- ' ly discussed and many useful suggestions made. A large number of plants and cuttings were exchanged among the members of the cirele. A dainty afternoon tea was provided by the members after which Mrs. W. Sydenham (senior) moved a very hearty vote of thanks to the hostess, ' Mrs. Tabb.
